Cloning a verichip would be useless without also taking the person's right hand and/ or forehead.

All the goods will carry RFID chips, although the tagging is more symbolic than anything, as the chips won't track anything. However, [ Nancy ] Nisbet says she wants to draw attention to the technology's risks.
RFID chips are currently used for many things from tracking goods to reading data in smart cards. Many advocates worry the chips -- which may soon be embedded in all manner of consumer goods -- could be used for surveillance or to gather information on an individual's purchasing habits.
